Hi, I’m Elaine Jackson-LCPC

My path to becoming a therapist began with seeking support myself. That experience opened the door for me to better understand my own challenges and start moving towards change. I learned how powerful it can be to have someone walk alongside you through difficult moments, and I knew I wanted to offer that support to others.

Before becoming a licensed therapist, I worked in retail, healthcare, and clinical research; roles that taught me a lot about people, systems, and how we navigate stress and change. I earned my Master’s in Professional Clinical Counseling from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, and over the last 9 years I’ve worked in a range of settings- including substance use recovery, psychiatric outpatient care, community mental health, and private practice.

I became a therapist because I wanted to offer the kind of care that’s made a difference in my own life, and I stay in this work because I believe healing and growth are ongoing. I continue to learn from every client I work with. I believe that by staying curious about ourselves, our relationships, and our environments, we begin to imagine what’s possible for our lives.

I bring a grounded yet light hearted approach to the therapy space. Clients often say that they feel safe, seen, and supported, even when they’re navigating hard things. Working with me you’ll learn that I love music, podcasts, running with my community, and exploring what’s local in my city. I’ll happily swap thoughts with you on your favorite shows, or current events, and I may even binge watch a show here and there if it’s not too scary! If you’re looking for a therapist who is thoughtful, down to earth, and compassionate- who brings knowledge, humor, and care to the process- I’d be honored to work with you.
